A group of 15 students, seniors, and activists hand delivered 6,740 petitions to the office of Governor Bob McDonnell urging him to veto voter suppression bills HB 63 and SB 1.

Over 6000 Virginians have signed a petition online urging Governor McDonnell to veto SB 1 and HB 63. According to the petition, the bills will prevent many Virginians from voting, especially low-income Virginians, students, and seniors.

Over 1000 Virginians rallied at the State Capitol today to call for an end to the Virginia Legislature’s ‘War on Women’ and demand that Governor McDonnell veto the notorious “Ultrasound Bill” passed in the Virginia Senate this week.

Nearby residents expressed their concern about Albo's proposed laws, and questioned whether the Delegate was in touch with his constituents.
